Krystal Marie Ball

Krystal Marie, born on November 24, 1981 is an American political commentator. She was previously a politician, and a television host on MSNBC, a frequent contributor for The Huffington Post, and the co-host of The Hill's Rising alongside Saagar Enjeti. Enjeti and Ball made it clear in May 2021 that they would leave the show to begin their own venture, Breaking Points with Krystal and Saagar. Ball is a co-host along with Kyle Kulinski on the podcast Krystal Kyle & Friends. She has made guest appearances on networks like CNN, CNBC, Fox News and programs including Real Time with Bill Maher. Ball is currently engaged to Jonathan Dariyanani, as of 2020. Ball is able to attribute her political interest to the fact that she was the mother of 2008's primary elections. In addition, she viewed the US elections while living in Jordan. She was able to see the effect it had on people in her home country and gained an appreciation for the worldwide impact of US politics. She was a Senior Fellow with the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party nominee in Virginia's 1st District of the Congressional Congress in 2010, but lost to Rob Wittman, who is the incumbent Republican. She hosted The Cycle on MSNBC show The Cycle from June 2012 until July 2015. She created the People's House Project (a political action committee that is dedicated to Democratic causes) in May of 2017.
